Lumin Medical Purchases Online Reputation Management Software

Franklin, Wis., May 9, 2016 – Lumin Medical LLC, a leader in patient satisfaction solutions, announced it has acquired the Online Reputation Management (ORM) assets from Implementing Technologies LLC and is moving the business from Charleston, SC, to Franklin, WI. The acquisition has enabled Lumin Medical to incorporate ORM into its PatientTrak platform, a web-based tracking system that features cloud-based software solutions that bring visibility to the patient experience before, during and after a visit to his or her healthcare provider. PatientTrak helps healthcare operational and marketing leadership better understand this experience, so they can take steps to improve it.

ORM is the leading, HIPAA compliant patient feedback solution in the healthcare industry with services and software that deliver automated patient satisfaction surveys, brand marketing analytics, integrated physician performance publishing solutions, and content tracking across all of the major physician surveys sites, including Healthgrades, Vitals, RateMDs, Google, YP, Facebook, Twitter and Yelp. The enterprise software captures patients’ feedback, so practice managers can obtain insight into their health systems’ physicians’ perceived strengths and areas for improvement. They can then leverage the data and take actionable steps to improve their brand and online presence.

More and more patients are using online review sites to select their physicians. Therefore, it’s becoming increasingly important for healthcare providers to monitor what is being said about them online. ORM is a great fit with our PatientTrak platform and will allow us to solicit, track and publish patient experience feedback for our healthcare clients,” said James Hermann, President of Lumin Medical. “PatientTrak now has more tools that our clients need to increase their revenue and improve patient satisfaction.

ORM is one of three primary components that are available in PatientTrak. Its products are available individually or as a packaged platform. The other two PatientTrak services include:

Patient Visit Flow – This feature allows providers to manage the patient flow process, tracking patients from check-in through various stages of treatment. Facilities are able to analyze patient throughput, average wait times, staff efficiency and operational bottlenecks.

Patient Engagement Text Messaging Solution – Healthcare providers can send text message notifications directly to any smart phone from the healthcare provider’s existing computers. Appointment reminders, patient communication, status updates during surgery and staff-to-staff alerts regarding patient needs can all be sent from the platform.

The web-based PatientTrak system is scalable and is being used in healthcare settings ranging from individual medical practices to the country’s largest health systems. It is available for a low monthly subscription and does not require the purchase of any other software or hardware.

All PatientTrak components offer reporting capabilities that enable healthcare facilities to monitor and improve patient satisfaction levels.

Patient flow and feedback are critical to improving patient satisfaction and maximizing reimbursement. Tracking the patient experience from door-to-discharge and post-visit through online reputation management are key factors for patient acquisition and retention.
