New JAMA Study Shows Physician Reviews on the Rise

Posted on Updated on

The Journal of the American Medical Association published a new research study on 2/21/17 titled Website Characteristics and Physicians Reviews on Commercial Physician-Rating Websites.  The data shows that physician reviews are on the rise and that in 2016 only 34% of physicians did not have a single online review compared in 73% without a review in 2009.  Nearly 60% of patients report that online reviews are important when choosing a physician.

PatientTrak’s Online Reputation Management Software tracks reviews across all of the major sites where healthcare reviews are left.
